La alcaldesa de Lasarte, Ana Urchueguía, visitó, una vez más, el municipio nicaragüense de Somoto. Según se comprueba en el siguiente video, Urchueguía muestra su indignación ante un centenar de campesinos por las acusaciones vertidas contra ella desde una revista española por una supuesta malversación de fondos de cooperación con Somoto. Urchueguía carga duramente contra los somoteños que "pasaron información" a los periodistas. Así, les amenaza con "ir a muerte" si consigue dar con ellos. Urchueguía asegura, además, que los somoteños "deberán trabajar mucho y eliminar a las víboras que permanecen en este pueblo".
Por otra parte, Urchueguía, en tono amenazante, no tiene ningún reparo en magnificar los recursos que maneja (llegando a asegurar que controla más de 300 millones de euros, cantidad que multiplica por 10 el presupuesto de Lasarte-Oria) para afirmar posteriormente que "Roma no paga a traidores".
¿Es así como debe actuar una alta representante de la Cooperación vasca?
Ana Urchueguía es también vicepresidenta de Euskal Fondoa y Presidenta de la Comisión para la Cooperación al Desarrollo de la Federación Española de Municipios y Provincias (FEMP).

WE PROVIDE THIS SERVICE FOR YOUR LISTENING PLEASURE ONLY, any copying, reproducing or downloading is strictly prohibited. We do not trade or sell mp3s, so don't even ask. All of the items pictured come from private collections, and they are not for sale.

Founded in 1939, the band were credited with raising the popularity stakes of cha cha cha during the fifties and beyond -- everyone will know that great Cuban classic"El Bodeguero' , written by Aragón's famous flautist Richard Egues. Orquesta Aragón have had a major influence on Latin American and West African music. And as for the present day, you have only to look at the success of their recent album La Charanga Eterna, and recent London appearances within the last two years for proof positive that they remain a potent force. Aragón can still be guaranteed to provide a rousing live act in performance, lacing more contemporary timba rhythms within their set, linking the traditional with the new.
